How to Use Parkmobile

Just download the Parkmobile app and sign up with an easy registration process, enter the zone number shown on the meter or choose your recently used zones, and enter your desired length of stay. You can also opt-in to receive a notification 15 minutes before your meter is about it expire.

*Please note that there is a .35 cent service fee on each Parkmobile transaction. This fee will cover the cost of the service in Burlington.

How to Use Burlington’s New Smart Parking Meters & Payment Kiosks

The City of Burlington has installed new smart meters in the downtown core, which is bounded by Cherry Street, Main Street, Pine Street, and South Winooski Avenue. Check out our Burlington parking map for more information.  Smart meters now accept credit cards as well as coins. There are no time limits on smart meters; users may pay for as many hours as they need.

How to Use Burlington Garage’s Automated Lanes or Pay a Parking Attendant

The City of Burlington has installed new automated lanes to pay for parking in the Lakeview, College Street, and Marketplace Garages. The automated lanes accept credit cards and your garage ticket when you’ve parked for less than two hours.
*Special note for hotel guests: Present your payment coupon to the attendant. Your coupon allows you to enter and exit the garage for one calendar day for no additional charge.

Please follow these steps to pay an automated lane
Be sure to check parking rates, hours, enforcement rules and other important information

  • Insert your garage ticket into the machine
  • Wait for the machine to give you your total
  • Swipe your credit card in the same slot you inserted your ticket into
  • When the garage arm raises you can exit the garage

Please follow these steps to pay the parking attendant
Be sure to check parking rates, hours, enforcement rules and other important information

  • Drive up to the parking attendant and hand him/her your garage ticket
  • Use cash to pay the attendant the amount due
  • Exit the garage when the arm raises

Where are the garage’s located?

  • College Street Garage: Entrances located at 82 College Street and 119 Battery Street
  • Lakeview Garage: Entrances located at Located at 28 Cherry Street and 101 Bank Street
