Events and entertainment are a big part of Burlington’s allure. They attract visitors from both our local and regional area; often times in large numbers. In 2017, Burlington hosted over 25 large events in downtown and on our waterfront. The below cheat sheet is intended to give large event planners (50+) a general guide to planning their events, with a focus on parking and transportation.

TIPS & TRICKS:

Your guest’s experience starts when they’re planning their trip and then continues when they arrive. Give your guests the tools they need to make getting to your event a carefree experience:

The chart is meant to give you a quick reference, each venue should be contacted for exact details. General Expenses:

Meter Bags: $15 per meter, per 12 hours; $30 per meter, per 24 hours – use meter bags to reserve on-street spaces around BTV, contact DPW for more information!

Meter Rates: Smart Meter: $1.50/HR | Brown Top: $0.40/HR | Blue & Yellow Top: $1/HR; more info here!

City Garages: 2 Hours Free in City Garages, detailed rate information here!

Private Facilities: rates vary, up to $4/HR, view interactive map for all private facilities and rates!
