All ParkMobile zones, except lots and 30-min zones, will offer two hours free from August 22-26
BURLINGTON, Vt. (August 21, 2019) – Burlington is rolling out the red carpet for this year’s college students by offering two hours free at all on-street metered parking from August 22-26, 2019.
The promotion has been organized through a partnership between Park Burlington, CEDO and Church Street Marketplace. The promotion will be paid for by business assistance funds offered by CityPlace Burlington.
To take advantage of this free parking, drivers must download and register with Burlington’s pay-by-cell app, ParkMobile. No promotional code is required and the parking transaction fees will be covered if a timeframe of less than two hours is selected. If drivers elect to park for more than two hours, the normal fees apply. Exempt from this offer are the parking lots covered by ParkMobile and 30-minute zones (zones 5804, 5813).
This promotion compliments the City of Burlington’s usual two hours free at all municipal garages – Marketplace, Lakeview and College Street garages. Lakeview and College Street garages are the most affordable parking in Burlington at $8 per day. Marketplace Garage is $10 per day.
