Centennial Field will be buzzing this week as the Vermont Lake Monsters open another season of minor league baseball here in Burlington. Be sure to check out their schedule and get your tickets here!
Whether your heading out to catch the game, hang out with Champ or just to enjoy a 25 cent hot dog promotion, plan ahead so you know where to park.
There is limited number of spaces available at the ballpark. These spots will cost $3.00 per vehicle and attendees should arrive early to ensure there are spaces remaining. Fans should enter the ballpark from Colchester Avenue. Be aware that the East Avenue Entrance will be closed during games.
Fans are encouraged to utilize free nearby parking at Trinity College and at the University of Vermont’s Gutterson Fieldhouse parking lot. Located on Colchester Avenue, the Trinity College lot is just a short walk from Centennial Field. Also free to use, the Gutterson Fieldhouse lot is located on Spear Street in Burlington. Fans can park and take the Community Bank N.A. courtesy shuttle service to and from the Ballpark.
Bike parking is also available along the third base line. This season the Lake Monsters will partner with Local Motion for “Bike Me Out to the Ball Game” on July 9th. That event will feature fans biking in large groups to and from Centennial Field.
Fans should not try to park on side streets and neighborhoods around the Ballpark. This is prohibited and drivers will be ticketed or towed.
