Maritime Festival Brings Music to Waterfront

The Lake Champlain Maritime Festival opens its tenth year on the Burlington waterfront on July 27th and this year’s installment is once again packed full of exhibits and great music from bands like Primus, Twiddle and The Shins.

Marketplace, Lakeview, and College Street garages will continue to operate in their normal schedule, check out rates here! Be advised that College Street garage will have limited capacity due to ongoing repairs. Parking is available on the Waterfront at Maple Tree Place, The Echo Center, The Pease Lot and along Lake Street.

Public transport is available on the waterfront as well. Green Mountain Transit’s College Street Shuttle runs for free. The bus picks up passengers at the bottom of college.

The Lake Champlain Maritime Festival has once again joined with Local Motion for the Fest! Ride your bike! Free Secure Bike Parking, like a coat check for your bike, is available. Travel by bike and beat the traffic. Hand over your bike (helmet, extra bags, whatever) to one of Local Motion’s trained staff or volunteers, who will watch it closely while you are enjoying your event worry free.
