Parking Ban In Effect Tonight 12/23

Beginning Tonight, there is a Winter Parking Ban in effect for all of Burlington from 10pm to 7am with the exception of the Downtown zone in which parking is banned from midnight to 6am.

Any vehicles remaining on the street during the parking ban will be issued a $125.00 parking ticket and will be towed to another location.

Free parking is available in the Marketplace Garage (Entrances on Cherry St & Bank St), College St Garage (60 College St) and the Lakeview Garage (45 Cherry St) starting at 10pm on 12/23. Please do not park on the top floor of any garage OR in any municipal lot (this allows plow access). Vehicles must be removed by 8am or they will be charged the full daily rate.

The forecast is for Sunday is looking much better, and the ban is expected to be lifted after just one night. Don’t forget parking is free on Sundays throughout Burlington, so after the storm you can still get that last minute holiday shopping done.

Please call 658-SNOW (7669) after 3pm for updated information. The parking lights around the city also serve as official notification of a parking ban.
