All of Burlington’s municipal parking garages are getting an upgraded system this week.
Although the garages will remain open all week, the necessary work will cause temporary closures of entries and exits at Lakeview/College Street Garage. The garages are still open for business, but please follow detour signage during this transition.
By Friday morning, October, 25, everything will be back to normal.
Here’s what to expect for the week ahead:
Pay-on-Foot kiosks at both garages will be offline all week. All transactions must be made at the exit lanes where cash, card, and passes will be accepted. Garage staff will be at the exit to assist.
The Battery Street Tunnel and the Westlake Tunnel will both be closed until the evening of October 24.
The right lane of the College Street exit will be closed through October 24.
Parkers can expect that the College St entry will be closed after 10:00 am, Oct 24. At about 7 p.m., the Cherry St entry will be flipped to the auxiliary entry to allow for the conversion of the main entry. The College Street exit will be closed for the rest of the evening to finish off the conversion.
We are working to open all lanes as quickly as possible. Current expectations are for week’s end.
