What Happened Onsite Last Week
SD Ireland continued excavating for subbase and placing subbase between Maple Street and King Street and the East side of the Maple Street intersection. Grading began on the King Street intersection and between King Street and Maple Street. Crews began removing sidewalk on the west side between the Hilton/TD Bank exit and Main Street, they installed sidewalk subbase in this location as well.
Next Week Look Ahead
SD Ireland will be fine grading the new subbase in the Maple Street intersection and between King Street and Maple Street. Paving of the Maple Street intersection and between King Street and Maple Street will be completed on Tuesday and Wednesday. SD Ireland will continue working on removing existing sidewalk and excavating and placing subbase for under the new sidewalk on the west side of the block between Main Street and King Street. Once the west side is complete the crew will move to the east sidewalk area.
Possible impacts
King Street and Maple Street will have flagged traffic while fine grading and paving. Hilton/TD Bank exit will change to outlet onto Main Street early in the week. The west sidewalk between King Street and Main Street will be closed to through pedestrian traffic, once sidewalk subbase is installed it will be re opened and the east sidewalk will be closed to through pedestrian traffic. The cross walk on the south side of Main Street will be closed to pedestrians for the week.
