What Happened Onsite Last Week:
SD Ireland finished fine grading paving base course of pavement on Wednesday. Excavation began on the west side of the road between King Street and Maple street for pervious pavers, tree well, soil cell, and rain garden installation. SD Ireland continued sidewalk removal and sidewalk subbase installation between Hilton/TD Bank exit and Main Street.
Next Week Look Ahead:
SD Ireland will continue excavating and installing material for pervious pavers, tree wells, soil cells, and rain gardens on the east side of the road between King Street and Maple Street. There is a possibility they may move to the east side of the street near the end of the week. Furthermore, they will continue sidewalk removal and sidewalk subbase installation on the west side of the street between Main Street and King Street. This work may also occur on the east corner at Maple Street. DiStefano Landscaping will be onsite on Wednesday to work on soil cell installation between King Street and Maple Street.
Possible impacts:
Stratos garage entrance will be from King Street and exit onto Maple Street. The west sidewalk between King Street and Maple Street may be closed to through pedestrian traffic for part of the week. The east sidewalk will remain open. The west sidewalk between Main Street and King Street will be closed to through pedestrian traffic for the week but the east sidewalk will remain open. The south crosswalk at the Main Street intersection may be closed for part of the week as SD Ireland works on removing and installing subbase for sidewalk.
