July 3rd Independence Day Celebration

The month starts off with the Burlington waterfront’s busiest night. A crowd of thousands will converge to take part in annual July 3rd Independence day events. LEARN MORE

Arrive early and be sure to utilize off site parking at downtown garages and at the University of Vermont Gutterson Field House or bring you bike and utilize valet parking from Local Motion. Shuttles will be there to bring guests to and from Waterfront Park. Marketplace and Lakeview garage will be operating at a special $5 rate during the event.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

July 21-22 Vermont Brewers Festival

Waterfront park will be packed again on the 21st and 22nd for the 2017 Vermont Brewers Festival. With over 150 craft beers available, guest should definitely be able to find a few favorites. LEARN MORE

We ask anyone who is drinking not to drive to this event, but all designated drivers should be aware that the event will not alter the normal waterfront parking system. The city run Pease Lot, as well as, private lots at Main Street Landing and the ECHO Center will be open. There are also a limited number metered spaces on Lake Street and all downtown public garages will be available, with limited parking available at the College Street Garage.

 

 

 

 

 

 

July 27-30 Lake Champlain Maritime Festival

The last weekend in July sees live music return to the waterfront with the Lake Champlain Maritime Festival. In addition to fantastic events and exhibition, the festival will include shows from Twiddle, Primus, The Shins and more. LEARN MORE

Parking will be available at the Pease Lot, Main Street Landing and the Echo Center. Guests are also encouraged to utilize the Lakeview and Marketplace garages. College Street Garage will have a limited number of spaces available as construction continues throughout the summer. There will be additional paid parking available on Lake Street, during the Maritime Festival. Check back in with Park Burlington regarding updates.
