We’re here to help make your journey through Burlington more enjoyable by making parking easy to find and as convenient as possible.
Below are a few quick tips that we get asked about a lot.
Feel free to contact us with any questions not answered below! Language translation available at bottom of each webpage.
Do you have a map of all the parking facilities in the downtown?
We sure do! Municipal garages, privately-run garages, motorcycle, handicapped, smart meters, etc. It’s all on our newly-redesigned interactive map here.
Where can I park overnight?
College Street and Lakeview Garages offer overnight parking for up to two weeks at $8/day. It’s a perfect launch spot for biking around the lake. (Yes, we get asked about that a lot.)
More information about location and rates can be found here.
Do you offer monthly parking permits to municipal garages?
We do, but we currently have more people requesting spots than we have spots to sell. We encourage you to sign up to our waiting list for Lakeview and College Street Garages. The monthly prices for these garages are:
5-day monthly lease, Mon-Fri: $80
6-day monthly lease, Mon-Sat: $96
Where can I park a bus?
Bus parking in Burlington is limited. There are a few options:
- The west side of South Champlain Street between Main Street and College Street has free parking for up to three (3) busses on a first-come-first-serve basis. This is available for overnight parking as well.
The west side of Lavalley Lane, immediately north of the entrance to the wastewater treatment plant for a distance of 160 feet, for a maximum time limit of three (3) hours.
On the south side of Cherry Street beginning 20 feet east of Pine Street and continuing for a distance of 50 feet east. To be used for loading and unloading only. Maximum time limit: 15 minutes.
